Every new account gets a full 30-day free trial — binder, editor, inspector, import, compile, and AuthorsDrop Press included. After the trial, unlock the same account with a one-time payment.

What you’re paying for

Continued editing and export after the trial. The software doesn’t switch to a “lite” mode — you’re keeping the account you already used. Projects stay on your machine (or Dropbox); nothing is deleted if you wait to pay. After expiry, viewing and export may still work until you unlock; full editing returns when you pay or redeem a friend code.

No subscription

There is no monthly or annual plan. $89 USD once (or your local equivalent on the store you use) is lifetime access for that account. Read more on the no subscription page.

Where you pay

On the website, open Billing after you sign in (Stripe). On the Mac App Store build, lifetime access is an In-App Purchase that unlocks the same AuthorsDrop account — including the website. If you already paid on the web, sign in on Mac; you should not need to buy again.

Friend codes, when you have one, redeem in the app and skip payment entirely.
